The very first Hailey was created for Hailey Verhaalen—a Pacific Northwest native and rising star in Nashville. Designed to keep up with her busy creative life, this elegant satchel in rich black leather with gold accents is as functional as it is stylish. It’s perfect for carrying sheet music to recording sessions, lyrics to songwriting meetups, or essential documents to performances and business meetings.

A structured design features a distinctive crossbar that folds over the handle, securely holding contents in place while adding a unique design touch.

Each bag begins with carefully selected leather—we choose hides based on the unique “personality” they bring to the final piece. Every satchel is then hand-cut and either hand-stitched or machine-stitched in-house, with deep attention to detail at every stage.

As with all fine leather goods, no two Hailey bags are alike. Over time, the leather softens and gains character, evolving with its owner and becoming a true one-of-a-kind companion.
